Íocón

I'm Riley, an Irish dancer of over a decade and the artist behind Iocon, a creative resource for the Irish dance community. It all started during the pandemic with simple costume drawings using only my finger and iPhone. (You can check these original drawings out by scrolling alllllll the way down to the end of my Instagram account @iocongraphics.)

As support for the Instagram account grew, and I slowly improved my art, I became more motivated to increase my presence and portfolio. The main source of my motivation will always be the enjoyment of making art.

Iocon (EE-kohn) comes from the Irish word for Icon. I was inspired by the strong, upright, and simple look that those original 2020 drawings took the form of.

Iocon is all about customization. Although there's a distinct style, trying something new is never discouraged. Your ideas allow me to continue adding new products and drawing subjects to the site.

Making art on this platform has always been a constant through major life events like college, my Irish dance career, and working. Thank you all for your continued support!
